Thank you - an excellent read! I also read Matt Hilliard's review of Perhaps the Stars in Strange Horizons and the Crooked Timber multi-author conversation from 2017.

Robbie Eginton and Stephen Gerken reviewed the first book in the series at The New York Review of Science Fiction, and the former is particularly interesting in discussing how Palmer describes desire.
